Giants

To anyone visiting Guatemala and staying in Antigua. I can’t recommend enough getting yourself up a volcano for sunrise or sunset. This was a 7hr night hike to the summit of Volcán Acatenango which towered over the carpet of clouds revealing the true size and scale of Volcán de Agua and Volcán de Fuego. The journey was intense yet beautiful, trekking through dense jungle and an everlasting pathway of volcanic rock, the summit certainly didn’t disappoint. A sunrise I’ll never forget.
